Pastor Dave Bio
My name is David Kessell, and I am very blessed to be the Senior Pastor of the Dellroy Church of the Nazarene. We are a church that is full of fun loving people that love others and, most importantly, love God.
It is amazing where God will take you when you follow Him. I am so glad that He called me into the ministry. I am so glad that I said, “Yes.” There is no greater thing in this world than being a child of God and working for Him.
I am originally from Marion, Ohio where I was raised by two wonderful parents who were very supportive in everything that I participated in. They also showed my sister and I much love. Thanks Mom and Dad!
I graduated from Ridgedale High School in 1990. Go Rockets!! Soon thereafter, I met Kathy, the love of my life, whom I married in June of 1992. It has been the best years of her life!! She is a wonderful support to me and to our ministry. I do not know what I would do without her. She is my greatest support, and she is my greatest prayer warrior.
In July of 1996, God blessed us with a wonderful son, Andrew. He has been a blessing and a joy to us. I honestly believe that my son has the best and brightest smile in the world. He should because he has not stopped smiling since he was born. He has earned the nickname “Smiley” wherever he goes. Andrew is a blessing to the Dellroy community as well. I call him the visitation committee because he has a list of people that he chooses to visit on a weekly basis.
