Church – Parent – Student Compact

 

Your child attends Youth Group at the Dellroy Church of the Nazarene.  As a result, the Dellroy Church of the Nazarene Youth Council would like to develop a church – parent – student partnership.

 

It is the responsibility of the Dellroy Church of the Nazarene to:

  1. Teach biblical/scriptural principles.
  2. Provide an environment in which each student has the opportunity to develop and increase their faith in Jesus Christ.

 

It is the responsibility of the student to:

  1. Faithfully read their Bible daily.  If the student does not possess a Bible, the Dellroy Church of the Nazarene will provide a Bible that the student may keep.

 

It is the responsibility of the parent(s) to:

  1. Encourage their child/children to faithfully read their Bible daily.
  2. Encourage their child/children to faithfully attend Dellroy Church of the Nazarene Youth Group Meetings each Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Church.
  3. Encourage their child/children to attend Dellroy Church of the Nazarene Youth Group events.  Event information will be sent home with each student in a timely manner.
